I'm in the market for a new laptop but just waiting for the next gpu cycle. I haven't bought a new laptop in a long time and so I was wondering if clevo/sager still near the top in gaming laptops. Still reilable? Are they still among the first laptop makers to release a new model with the latest gpu or are do they come later? Years ago they were almost always the first to do this. The current sager I own is going on 5 years (with a gpu upgrade in the middle) and I've been quite satisfied with their brand. The laptop I owned before that was also a sager. The lcd hinges on that are broken but it's become more of a media server machine that runs 24/7 365 days a year and has been doing so since my last sager. It seems that other makers like acer/msi/alienware have improved since then but I'll probably stick with sager so long as they continue to deliver the latest and greatest.

Sager computers are still very popular. They have had the newest hardware available as soon as NDA liff, but to be fair so have many of the other brands. With how competitive the notebook market is they have to be.

Absolutely. :) But of course, as with most things, a product treats you about as well as you treat it.

It is pretty competitive now, but they're still among the first as soon as new chips are made available.

Clevos still are great values for what you get out of them. Every brand has their strengths, as well as idiosyncrasies, but if you're accustom to and happy with your previous Sagers, you'll likely be happy with current models too.
