for the sager np2090 there is only a glossy 1280x800 and matte 1680x1050. i would prefer the glossy screen but yet i would have like to see it in a higher res. so my question is:

how much vibrant is the colour of the glossy than the matte. i want a laptop that is bright and with rich colour. does this mean im better off with the glossy

also how good is the matte screen in terms of colour and wont everyting be TOO small with that res. i heard about lowering the res but wont this distort the quality of the picture?

i dont really care too much about the reflectiveness because i am use to it and certain adjustment wont bother me to much. i basically want a laptop that is rich in colour and bright and vibrant but yet a high res.

i would be using this desktpop mostly at home and i would be playing games here and there but would be using it more for movies, surfing, and hw.

what should i do?! ive been debating for a week now

thanks guys. any input would be nice

The higher res matte screen is great. Nothing is too small. And keep in mind, if you find it to be too small, you can adjust text DPI to make things bigger. It's a non-issue.

Personally, I went for the higher rest screen because I'm find with matte screens and I would definately value res over a glossy screen which is likely to be too reflective. Yes, a glossy screen will have slightly richer color, but regardless, the higher res matte screen still look excellent.
