    hi guys.
so i was looking for a new laptop for college, and NP8130 seemed like just the kind of machine i need. however i heard most of the laptops bought this year cant upgrade their cpu to ivy bridge, and that intel's already producing ivy bridge chips and maybe starting from Jan/Feb next year we will be able to buy those laptops that come with ivy bridge chips. so im just wondering, since i'm not particularly familiar with this area, will NP8130s come with ivy bridge chips if i wait til then? also how much more powerful is the technology compare to sandy bridge? i was planning to buy the laptop during Thanksgiving and maybe stumble upon some discounts. i don't need a new laptop at like right this moment but again i feel like NP8130 is the best laptop within my budget range ($1000, give or take) and that waiting longer only shortens its life in turns of being able to run games at high setting.
also i heard people upgrade the GPU to 485m. how costly is the upgrade and how long does it increase the lifespan of NP8130?
    Thanks for the help :) :) :)

I don't see Ivy Bridge laptops shipping anytime before March... and there's probably no reason to wait for it unless you want a 13 incher with an i7 quad. The main improvement will be efficiency, not clock speed.
