EDIT : will they have it in the future? are there news in sager that will give some flagship dual gpus? i just ordered one when its available in xoticpc (now subjected to wire transfer) but now seeing their options for sager laptops, the 9380-s is now not availableif they could somehow order it i will be making a transfer soon, i sent them multiple emails regarding my order but until now no update

There could have been one allocated for your order as long as it has been paid for. Build times are currently 6-10 business days so it seems like you'll be OK. Can you PM me your order number and we can double check with Sager on Monday. If they did not have one for your order you should have been informed so.

EDIT : i have made an order weeks ago by the time back then that the np9380-s is still available, as for talking to Erin (or Megan, not sure who) they said that its still on stock, now this week, that im about to make the payment transfer its gone, i sent a mail to Megan to confirm if its still available in your site, coz it wont mean anything if i will transfer now and will not get it in the future, by saying so i need assurance that i will be able to get it as i will pay soon when i receive Megan's confirmation, but now she's gone dark, can you bump her out Hutsady? i want some confirmation soon (bdw i know i should've transferred the payment but there were some errors from Erin's side, she sent a wrong price declaration from xoticpc's end, as i received her first email (the cronfirmation of price) i questioned her immediately and told her to recheck the price in my order, so another days have past, and Megan made it clear that the price from my order was wrong, so she corrected it but by the time Megan corrected the price of my order, the sager np9380-s is now not available on the options menu, bdw i have the order no. 88538 ? which is lately now on changed status (updated price from Megan)
Huts, can you shed light on this? payment is getting delayed coz of im not sure of what price to follow, it got delayed here and there and now that the 9380-s as you said are now phased outthis sucks

Thanks for providing the order number. I do see the wire transfer has not cleared which is pretty much the same thing you said. Since payment has not been made for this order there would not be one set aside for you at Sager.

I was also ready to purchase one of these notebooks today that seem to have been taken down. Can somebody please clarify what exactly is going on? I am hearing speculations and potential reasons as to why these models are being pulled but no detailed answers, information, or recommendations. I am noticing that this is affecting other notebook brands as well but mostly Sager.
As much as I love anticipation and excitement of new games and toys, Notebooks and PC's are not just a toy for me. Yes, I am looking for cool features, best game play, light-up keyboards, ext.., but I am also a professional Comp Science student and professional contractor who relies on a good computer. I have spent the last two weeks specing out and researching each one of these models and was ready to drop $5000.00 today just to find out that these have been pulled. Now all that is left is older models that I am not interested in, or the option to wait and see IF these models will come back, or if there will be new but similar models to what I am looking for, and how long the wait will actually be.
I am on a older laptop that is on it's last legs and the majority of my school is online and so is my work. Time is money and something I do not have the luxury to wait around for. For the amount of money that myself and other consumers are willing to spend on these laptop options, one would think that there would be more transparency of what is going on with these companies and their decisions behind their products and actions. (I don't feel like much of a valued customer.)
Of all the forums that I have read regarding this issue there have not been any definitive answers, just more questions. My major questions that I would like answered are; Will these models (specifically NP9380 or NP9390 and certain MSI's) be returning and if so how long until they are back? (For back-order answers, It is now mid-march, there should be an exact date or some news), Will there be different models with the same or more features to replace the old ones? (Sager, I'm looking at you), Will the retail sites or manufacturers be offering additional discounts or sales for those of us who have been forced to wait (Not including additional build times.), I would hope at the very least that international shipping costs would be a covered courtesy, as I am going to Canada in a few weeks and now because of this wait I will be forced into spending even more to get the computer to my location. Or should I perhaps be looking at other options and retail outlets?
Any help, advice, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. -
what puzzles me is, sager has a lot of laptop models, for me, as a midstream to heavy gamer, both 9380-s and 9390-s are like their top of the line products, its either they went out of stock and decided a refresh, but honestly guys, flagship models are having an early refresh as now? it should be worth it somehow, my past experience on the laptop trends back then, they wont just suddenly omit a dominating laptop (like the 9380-s 120hz screen with dual gpus, wow, just wow) without a newer refresh already served and reviewed out of speculation, now, we are still speculating what is inside the box, and when will it arrive
in my case, it sucks more, i could have made it in time, maybe chunking the last remaining units before they finally decided to omit it.
whatever reason and when is the time? man im waking up everyday and checking if there would be any, im in the same boat with you DJsilverline, hanging by a tread, waiting but unfortunately still expecting since my mind was set to order one already back before -

With new cards coming out they cut production of models with the "old" cards to prevent excess stock that nobody wants.

My advice is to just wait a week or so. This refreash is in process and it won't be too long. At this point no dealer can tell you more. The 9380's sell well, so I don't think they will disappear. This refresh should have some updated gpus, although more should come in July. We may see some other changes, like full color keyboards, slightly better sound, and some other tweaks. Or maybe those tweaks will hapoen in July, announced in June.
