    Hi

I have never heard of Sager of Clevo, how do these laptops rank? What are they comparable too?

I was getting an ASUS because i read that they are really good, but battery life suck. Buy my Asus m50sv-a1 order got cancelled.

So, i am looking into Sager/Clevo and thought that you might help.

Also, where can i get it, in Toronto, Canada.

    Is it only online orders?

Do some searches for Toronto and Canada, lots of people ask questions.

I ordered from XoticPC (in the US), and they were fantastic. (MAny will attest to this, and the owner.. Justin, is a frequent poster here.)

There is also Eurocom, which despite their name, are in Montreal IIRC, so you can avoid duty and such by driving over there; however, at the time I ordered, their pricing was nutty so it was cheaper to order from the US (!!) including shipping. (But also, I didn't look into them much, as I had assumed they were in Europe. Bad name :)

FWIW, Sager/Clevo are the way to go if you want a badass laptop. I adore mine. even more solidly bujilt than a Thinkpad of yore, yet with better performance than most desktops. Certainly, my 6ymo or eyar old Sager runs the very latestr games no problem.

Being upgradable is the win for me; I picked it up with an 8700 card in it (a not bad bu tnot great video card), and upgraded it myself to the 8800GTX which is a badass card.. and the upgrade took about 15 minutes. Sure a hell of a lot better than buying a new laptop to get a video card upgrade :)
