Yeah, all the Sager resellers as well as Sager direct should have this sale pricing.

Correct, resellers can opt out of the sale pricing if they choose.

At this time no additional sales are planned from Sager.

Ahh well; I suppose we'll just have to see how black "Black Friday" really was to start figuring odds on an unplanned sale, hmmm?

I wouldn't count on any more sales; this current sale pricing is supposed to last until January 6th, then prices are going back up :(

The only things I count on are my fingers (and, sometimes, my toes - if my socks are clean enough :D); everything else is subject to risk. :D

On the other hand, I also don't believe in ever saying "never" - it all depends on how badly Sager needs to hit its gross and net profits numbers for the year, and how badly they get put back by a lack-lustre "Black Friday."

This is the normal November price drop we see each year--and then some. Just about every year we see this kind of drop from Clevo resellers so I always wait for November before a laptop purchase.

I don't recall ever seeing such a large drop, though.

Also, the aforementioned price increase in January usually does occur--but it usually doesn't jump all the way back up to where it was before. January also often sees a minor hardware change (new motherboards to accomodate different CPUs or GPUs.

Not sure what we will see this coming year, but if you are wondering if now is the time to buy, the answer is yes.
