OP you should edit your post so that it makes sense. Who are you planning to buy your Sager from? The Satori is a re-branded Sager and you will have to wait until mid-March to late-April for it as well unless you are buying a pre-recall laptop from someone used.

There are many threads already started that will answer this question appropriately.

    What?

The Satori P170HM IS the Sager np8170. Malibal rebrands them. They offer the same warranty as most resellers as well. The build quality should be identical.

In either case, all resellers are backordered until the sandy bridge recall is finished.

But Mythlogic just told me they expect to get their first shipment of chassis early next week so its just remotely possible that Malibal can ship their first ones out on the 7th with very limited inhouse testing etc...

Yeah, the Laptop you are describing is a re-branded Sager model that is named similarly to the original Clevo model that the Sager corresponds to, if that makes any sense. The Satori P170HM is a Clevo P170HM laptop that has been imported and rebranded by Sager. Malibal is a reseller of Sager laptops that makes their own brand.

If Sager's ship date is mid-march, then Malibal's ship date should align with this unless they have extra stock incoming from Sager. At this point you would have to wait behind all of the pre-orders that are already in the que, so it is highly unlikely you would receive a laptop as early as March 7th if you ordered today.
