I live in Toronto, I just ordered an NP2090 from Xoticpc.
If you ship UPS EXPRESS, you only get charged tax.
If you ship UPS ground, you will have to pay brokerage fees.

I ordered mine (Sager 5971) from AET solutions in Montreal.
    http://www.aetsolutions.ca/

They are in Montreal so I didn't have to pay the PST only the GST. I did have to pay a small duty fee whatever that means. Either way their price was more than fair considering the sticker price on the U.S site, their customer service (I like to ask alot of questions..that they put up with very professionally) and the shipping charges to.

    Cheers,
    Jeremy

Yes, UPS express + PST + GST... the tax was calculated weird, I don't know where they got the value of my laptop from, but it was more than what I purchased it for. But the difference wasnt that large, so I didn't care.

I've been charged brokerage fees before by shipping UPS GROUND. it says on their website. It sucks, because I've bought records before from the US, total $50, and then the brokerage fees came out to be another $50. :p I don't know the exact calculation for a laptop, but I'm guessing it would be at least $50 or more.
