shipping the np9260???

Does anyone know when this beast is shipping? I ask because for me it is time sensative based on my voyage to the field on the 28th id love to have mine before then. I am just asking if there is any insider info on when clevo or whoever is making this thing is going to start shipping them out?

 

I don't have any direct confirmation, but I keep seeing May 21st is when they're expected in stock on vendor websites.

Usually it takes a bit less than two weeks to get a custom notebook built + delivered to your doorstep. When do you need this buy, May 28 or June 28? If by the former, I'd say you are really cutting it close.

Xoticpc isn't doing the upgrades...Sager is.

Therefore ALL NP9260 pre-orders with 2GB or less will be upgraded to the 800MHz memory and the 4965a/g/n wireless card.

 

I kinda figured that so mine will have all that better stuff as spoken about by the guy that works at xotic pc?

I do believe that Sager is shipping (which if I understand correctly Sager ship's directly from all the resellers like powernotebooks.com)

 

Shipping will actually begin within the next couple of days.

Shipping daily on our website means for folks who are just placing their order there will be no delay in the normal "make your payment>machine into production>ship" timing.

 

Has anyone gotten this beast yet? I just ordered mine, in the form of an Hypersonic EQ7. I'm really wanting to see a review or something.

 

They are not shipping yet. Sager will hopefully begin shipping this week, and then after Sager starts shipping Hypersonic will get their shells and will start shipping about a week or so later.

Yo, copterfixer; I know EXACTLY how you feel. This is what I do. To get my clevo "fix" is I search for every other web site, review, or whatever site to read about all the lappys that don't even come close to ours, but they claim they are the "fastest" "bestest" (is that a word?) and most "awesome beast" made. Then go to your "basket" or full picture review and laugh ur a** off. It's not an np9260 in your hands, but it makes me feel a little better. Then I get on CS:Source and KILL as many terrorists as I can in an hour. Hey, works for me.

Its not so much about being impatient if you read my postings. I am goign away for 30 days to the field training excersize in the army. It would be really nice to have this thing to take with me. Then my next deadline is im shipping off to iraq in august. So its not so much about being impatient its more about having the toy i invested 4 grand into for these trips to take with me.

 

Remember there Copterfixer, you need to post the hour that lappy arrives. That way, I'll be so frustrated Ill have to hunt down Char and make sure he sits on one of my special delivery "nades".

Well i hope i didnt sound snappy when i said that. Also so what is this game you are refering to playing torque. I play BF2 and BF2142 i go by the same name there. Ill lob a "nade" or 2 your way

 

It wasn't snappy at all. I want one of these things too, maybe we can have a 9260 party of some sort!

STEAM took over a game called Counter Strike awhile back. Since then, (and don't quote me as to the dates) Counter Strike is a first person shootemup game that is team based game similar to BF2, and all it's versions since. I like CS (Counter Strike), CS:Zero, CS:Source (best graphics) because it's more personal. he he he.

 

Counter-Strike was the last man standing game mod created on the original half-life engine... Steam is just a front end to keep your game patched up as well as provides simpler interfaces for many of the game features. They did this because way back in the day you had to open each mod(3 of which were official from Valve) separately to check for servers and buddies and whatnot..

BF2142 wooo! (never was a fan of CS... Team Fortress however... )
