i just recently got my Sager NP9170 on Tuesday and everything has been working great. Just today though i had it booted up on the desktop, looked away and when i looked back, the screen was flashing different colors repeatedly with no icons etc. I had to hard reboot by holding down the power button, and when i brought it back up, everything has been fine. I have the stock glossy screen with a 7970m gpu. Should i be worried?

If it's an issue, you'd be better off to be proactive about then to wait and see if it happens again..

Had a long gaming session and no issues last night. Maybe a fluke?

I think it's fine. Especially with a new laptop you're installing everything, windows needs to update, etc, etc. If it doesn't happen again, I wouldn't worry too much. I mean if it games good and passes all stress tests, then you should be fine. If it dies within the year, you have the warranty, so don't sweat it.

probably just a fluke, but if it happens again then contact your reseller.
