Im using 174.82 from Laptopvideo2go. So far so good. No downclocking.
-
Same here.
But I think I'm experiencing some downclocking.... After half an hour into Crysis, the frame rates are halved atleast!
Any advice on that ?

I havent been able to play for that long yet! Just got the game and my babie girl is keping me busy at all times right now.
How things change i remember playing Anarchy Online for 48h non stop.
ill try and do a bit of playing today with riva monitor and ill check on it.
Boy i hope this DClock business with drivers reaches its inevitable end soon -
Let me know how it works out for you, then!
-
Well i didnt manage to play Crysis yet but on 3dmark i got 8170 with the new drivers 174.82 and 9457 with stock ones.
So i gather its back to stock. -
crysis gets more demanding deeper into the game.. thats what your fps drop is prob prasad
-
I get ~9200 on 3DMark06 with the 174.82 driver on Windows Vista x64 SP1.
No, what I meant was.... it hits like half the FPS like after half an hour of gameplay. But if I close and restart the game, then it's back to normal and smooth again (for another half an hour or so), at the same place in the game.
Currently running Crysis version 1.2 -
do you guys know if this downclocking is similar to the m15x fiasco? does it affect the d900c as well?
-
I just started using 174.33 from Laptopvideo2go and on the first 3dmark06 they did not downclock score:10804 compared to previous 169.44 wich had a score of 10605.
ill givem a week test on real games and see if the dowclock issues happens if not its a keeper
