I need to know how upgradeable the NP8662 is, and if i ordered it with 2gb ddr3 system ram, could i later order 2gb more ddr3 for like 150$ or something and install it myself, if so how difficult is it to install ram in this/upgrade the cpu. Also if anyone has worked with XOTIC PC, how would you rate their service / reliability?

Thanks everyone for your help and advice,
    Rob

Why do you keep posting your questions in here? There is a Sager section you know. (MOVED :))

It is VERY easy to upgrade the NP8662. One bottom panel comes off and you get access to everything, RAM, Wireless, CPU, GPU, etc. 2GB more of DDR3 isn't $150, it's like $30. I ordered from XoticPC, tons of people ordered from XoticPC, they are extremely reliable and their prices are very competitive.

Thanks for info. Could someone find me an example of a 2gb stick of ram that would be compatible with this notebook, I am inexperienced with hardware and not sure what to search for on newegg that would be compatible. I'm thinking of getting 2gb to start, then later ordering 2gb more to add if needed.

I am using two sticks of this. Any of the memory on this page is compatible.

You need to specifically ask for your notebook to be equipped with one 2GB stick, or you'll be given two 1GB sticks instead, which would force you to buy 2x 2GB sticks later.

    The internal layout is simple:
