I use nvidia system tools to overclock the gtx470m and gain more power.

through the game Mafia 2 I found 470m can run 60fps in 1080p (Fraps 3.29)

temp. of gpu never over 60 Celsius in games . 36-40 c when surf internet . 47 c when play 1080p mkv in 60 fps by SPLASH HD PRO (Motion2 stage 10).

45-62fps , when setting 0aa 2af physx geometry double medium and others low (shadow esc)

many scene such as Vito driving car in the street , when no spot lighting , or no over-occupied models , always 60fps

big violent scene or very complicated spot lighting make the street buildings change their appearance in the car's reflective body , will slow down the fps to 45 or even less .

My system is stable , very good NVIDIA card .

you can overclock 100mhz on the core easy i was able to go over 185mhz before i see artifacts on furmark

and for a 24/7 overclock i recommend to leave the ram alone since that is already running over specs :)

    Take a look

    thank you Speedy Gonzalez

I tried 1800 MHz RAM before and the GPU's over-heat-protect suddenly RUN , It limits the full power of GPU , in game just 75/[email protected].

Now I'll try a little more CORE freq to test .

    thank you.

Try not to overclock the memory too much. They are usually the first things to break. I would keep them at around 1600 and it could give more room to up the core and shader.
