About 15 minutes into playing WoW, it just shut off today. This happens very often, and i have been monitoring my heat of my video card and it never goes over 80. Sometimes its 15 minutes into playing, sometimes it is much longer.

    Please help!!

I apologize if this was brought up at all but have you checked all of your fans? For my tastes, 80 is still pretty hot but that might just be me. I would see if you can get some canned air and check out all of the fans in the laptop.

I would check the fans, vents an clean (if not already done), then I would look at reapplying thermal paste for the GPU(s) and CPU, then run memtest to ensure no memory problems. Also if you are overclocking your video I restore back to default to see if this is the issue. This is the best place to start, it could just be a small spike in temperature that is causing it if you are running at 80C already.

Im usually running around 70-75 when i have WoW up. And no i'm not overclocking my video card. Could you explain how i run memtest?

First thing i do when i head home is get some canned air for my fans.

Here is a great guide on how to test your ram with Memtest.

    Testing your RAM with Memtest86+

Does this problem happen when you play any other games?

Hmm, yes it does... its happened to me when i was playing Doom 3. I really don't play any other games much though.

The strange thing is that i had this exact same problem w/ my old desktop computer, which was one of the main reasons i wanted to upgrade.

And i guess i can not run the memtest until i head home because im at school and don't have a cd burner available.

run those tests @ home..and if u get any problems, contct you reseller..Clevo resellers are usually VERY helpful ( e.i. XoticPc or PowerNotebooks) and I'm pretty sure they will assist you with getting rid of those problems..
..let us know how it went bro!
    take care!

Another thing that might be worth looking at is updating video drivers.

Incidentally, your NP2090 should have a built-in CD writer, as long as you can get a blank CD-R to burn. If you don't have CD-burning software installed, you can download the free edition of DeepBurner from http://www.deepburner.com/
