    swap screen WSXGA->WUXGA on W170HR feasible?

    hi guys.
    i have a W170HR with a broken screen. I uses the chimei 1680x1050 one.
    Can i swap the screen for a 1920x1080 B173HW01 one straight away or do i need a new ribbon cable?

    you mean WSXGA -> HD/FHD (WUXGA is 1900x1200), and i have no idea.

    I would ask your reseller which screen they use and sell, they can either give you a name or you can buy straight away from them.
