I'll post some pictures when I get home tonight... currently at work. But here's what I have so far:

Out of the box (only programs I installed was 3dmark6 and hwmonitor)
    - 9434 on 3dmark6
    - 53C HDD temp (reading was right after I ran the benchmark)

I got a Toshiba hard drive (200 GB 7200 RPM). Btw, I ordered my notebook from XoticPC.

The official M860Tu owner`s lounge seems appropriate...

Or, they could use the M860TU Owner's Lounge ;) EDIT: yeah, like eleron said. Maybe not having NP8660 included in the thread's title is throwing people off.

Anyway, congrats on finally receiving your laptop. It's a great piece of technology.

No dead pixels... bought the warranty that came with the policy.

Also, I'll start posting to the owner's lounge.

nice, congrats on the new beast. :)

make sure you take care of it, if you want it to take care of you:
    - monitor the temps (especially the GPU)
    - regular cleaning of the vents and fans (for both the notebook and power brick)
    - use only on clean, hard, flat surfaces.... preferably a good notebook cooler
