I just tested my NP8660 on my 60in Pioneer Plasma at 1080i.

The HDMI output works very well with my tv. The NP8660 automatically recognizes the HDMI cable being plugged in and promptly shows the desktop on my screen.

Unfortunately the scaling is still not working right with the latest Nvidia drivers, resulting in the desktop to be stretched. However when I began playing crysis, it formatted the screen perfectly.

Here is a little video of crysis on high.

The audio is from the laptop and its not that high.

    Nice vid. :)

As for the TV scaling, There should be an option in the Nvidia Control panel to set the TV Wizard resolutions... although I only recall seeing 720p or 1080p.... no 1080i.

You can play with the refresh rates and interlacing.

I wish people would stop using the word/term Lag for slow performing games/low fps.
It's right up there with saying looser when they mean loser etc.

And yes, it looks horrible, I hope it is the camera or that you run at some crazy high resolution and details.
