I know this topic has been discussed a lot. But what i would like to know is the opinion from those who have/had macbook pro or thinkpad. how is the built quality of NP5793 compare to them? is the case flexible or just as hard as metal? I was originally thinking of gateway P-6831FX, but it feels way too plastic to me(tried it at BB), like i will break the lappy in a month. and alienware m15x simply over priced to me. still struggling.

Ive always heard that Sagers have good quaility in reviews. IF that helps

well mine has no flex at in the chasis...the handrest area of the keyboard is made of sometype of metal is quite nice to look at . I have had many laptops, sony, HP, and never had anything stronger/better build than this laptop. Also the screen/lid is made of a brushed metal and is VERY best quality i have ever seen on a lid, blows any other laptop away in this regard! Good luck on you choice mate!

I had a T61p prior to my 5792, the build quality on both was excellent. Much better than a lot of other Gateway/Dell/HP laptops I've seen and used in the past.

I feel the exact same about the Gateway FX series. I too grabbed ahold of it at BB and man that thing felt like a hunk of plastic crap. Ive heard also that Sagers have SUPERIOR build quality in every aspect compared to Dell, HP, & just about every boutique brand who doesnt use a Clevo barebones.
the built quality of NP5793?
