-

-
Sounds like a pretty good deal actually...
Link? -
eBay link
Deal seems great, but the custom lid and painted fan cover really turned me off. I'm still watching it though just to see when it'll be sold. -
how much is that in us currency
-
Mmm, around ~$1100USD, depending.
-
ok, then that's not bad at all. that's a pretty darn good deal then.
-
great deal there id say. only thing is the 8700's they are far from the 8800 or 9800's for playing games and the upgrade is very pricey. so if you are planning to buy then upgrade id hold off myself
-
Check this out.. the 8800 is better than 2 x 8700... so its just really the processor that isn't as good

Manda, eBay is a great place to pick up some real bargains, but be careful from who, or whom, you buy from. Computers, electronics, jewelry and designer labels are major areas of fraud on eBay.
Be sure to thoroughly check the seller's feedback. Don't only look at their feedback received, but also check the feedback they have left for others. Any seller with less than 99.5% positive I would stay away from.
DO NOT pay with cash, with an eCheck, wire transfer, personal check or money order. Use a credit card only (you can do this through PayPal if they cannot accept credit cards directly).
If a seller does not fall within those terms, run away as fast as you can! -
but he could still buy and upgrade and still stay well under the cost of a brand new one. by like 2k usd. (problem would be finding the cards/fans/heat)(not impossible, but lengthy) 2 8800m gtx's or 9800m gt's or gtx's. but in his case, he would have these so he would just need to find the cards.
if we are pointing out things..

The seller's DSR's (Detailed Seller Ratings) will show how buyers rate the seller for item description, communication, shipping time, and shipping charges. Generally I stay away from sellers with too many or too few feedbacks. The ones with too many are generally too big to offer personalized service (you know, like a Dell or HP), and the ones with too few don't have a real track record. Of course every seller has to start at square one and I'll buy an inexpensive item from them, but its a leap of faith to send them several thousand dollars. That's why I recommend using a credit card only to pay for the item. -
with their outrages fees, paypal is the best way to go. and i think they are heading to paypal only.... or so it would seem.
-
Yes they are. After this Jan. 15th sellers can no longer state in their listings that they accept cash, checks, money orders or any type of wire transfer such as Western Union. Since eBay owns PayPal, they are forcing everyone to use it.

I love Paypal, so I`m all for it

Paypal is awesome. That's how me and zfactor dealt for my new CPU.
thinking of getting a d901c of ebay?
