    with E8500(E8600) and q9550, are they desktop processor?

    The E8500 and E8600 are. Not sure about the q9550, but I think its a desktop processor.

    Yes, the sager 9262 (clevo d901c) uses desktop processors

    The Q9450 and Q9550 are also desktop quad cores.

    The Clevo D901C uses LGA775 desktop CPUs
    - full dual core and quad core support
    - 65nm and 45nm

    nice.. that's the only thing i like about it.. being able to use desktop processor is really sweet. i was getting tired of slow notebook dual core cpu. =(
    now if i only i can find one without cpu for $1500(with 9800gts or 9800gt and 4gb ram), i will be happy. i can put my q9550 in and rock and roll. :eek:

    You should be able to find whitebook 9262s at other resellers (check Gophn's sig, I think RJTech is the most popular one for empty clevo chassis (? right)). By empty I mean empty + you can add whatever you like to them as well. $1500 is probably pushing it however (since they come with 9800GTX standard, which is, what, a $700 card), but you can get your own memory likely.
