Did you try re-installing the THX software? That version is somewhat old, but it appears to be the latest release.

You can try downloading it and reinstalling it from here: Download THX TruStudio Pro 1.03.01 Free - True studio audio experience - Softpedia

You can also try doing a clean uninstall of your audio driver, and then a manual install using the Device Manager (right click > update driver software > browse my computer).

Figgured as much when I read the topic of the thread.

Use Realtek 2.70 and not older ones. Else it wont detect the sound card.

Awesome. A lot of problems tend to be driver related. Although I'm a PC guy more than a Mac guy, the broad spectrum of vendors and chipset manufacturers for IBM PCs is a bit of a double edged sword.

There's a newer version of THX Trustudio Pro and it's version 1.04.12. Although the download was thought to be only for Windows 8, it also works on Windows 7. Be sure to install latest Realtek HD Audio driver first before installing the newer version of THX Trustudio Pro.
