..how did did it take to actually get the laptop in your hands? Right now i'm living aboard an Aircraft Carrier, and we are about to go on Deployment in 1-2 months.

I'd rather not have the laptop CODed onto the ship while we are out in the Gulf.

What was your wait time from when you ordered yours? I'm specifically looking at the Sager models.

    I purchased a Sager 5791.

Placed the order late on a Wednesday night.
Order was processed the following day.
Shipped out monday via 2-day shipping as I requested.
    Received it Wednesday.

7 days from time of order, to my hands, including weekend.

Pretty fast, thats only 3 business days to ship the laptop ( Thursday / Friday / Monday )

Assuming everything is in stock ( meaning you are not ordering the 8800M GTX ) you should get it pretty quickly. Make sure you ask about stock before ordering.

The live chat and phone reps are very helpful.

Ordered a 5791 on the 30th, just got it today (12th), so about 8 business days, not too bad.

Except, of course, for the fact that it doesn't work. :(

For notebooks that are in-stock, you're looking at about a two week total wait for your machine. I remember when I ordered my Sager, I ordered on a Friday, and got it two Thursdays later. So, 9 business days. Not bad at all, and certainly on par with mainstream brands like HP and Dell.

I payed the 50$ extra for rush processing ordered mine on Friday and with 100$ overnight air had it on Wed and left on Friday back to Iraq. For me it was worth the little extra for the guarantee to have it.

I ordered a 9260 the day after they went out of stock. It took 6 weeks to ship because I had to wait for 9261s to show up.

If you order now I suspect you'll be in the same boat with the 9262's on back order.

It they're in stock it's a 2 week turn around. If they're out of stock all bets are off.

I was disappointed in Sager's ability to accurately communicate what was going on during my order. They were a black hole of information. I was close to canceling my order at the 6-week mark and then the laptop magically shipped.

Xotic tries hard though and I give them credit. Unfortunately they get their information piped directly from sager so they are a black-hole victim too.

Mine took about a month to receive, but there were some back order issues and I wanted the 7950GTX specifically. Anyhow, you max waiting time should be about 2-3 weeks.

Recieved notebook in sig in 8 business days total using UPS Ground! It's my understanding that Xotic,PN,etc... don't actually ship from where they are located it, as the notebooks come directly from Sager.

Anyways I used XoticPC and talk to Justin if you have shipping date concerns.
