I tried a suggestion someone else posted for the ITM Dashboard problem I and a few others were/are having but now I have another problem. Ever since I uninstalled and reinstalled with the -UP command to install the ITM Dashboard I now have an unknown device (Intel(R) ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919) in Device Manager. I tried updating the driver by going to the internet, no luck. I then tried by looking on the local disk and again, no luck. I tried using WinRAR to extract the ITM exe file so I can look for an *.inf but WinRAR is unable to extract it. This might be why the mouse gets hoppy when I try to use the ITM Dahboard....
Any thoughts?

I believe you can get a driver update package that includes support for that particular device (device No. 2919) from here on Versiontracker's website. That package looks like it might be easier to open up.
Also, problems with that device driver could be a possible source of problems with your keyboard. As briefly explained in this Wikipedia article, the LPC, or low pin count, interface is used to connect certain low bandwidth and "legacy" components, including the keyboard. -
I had tried the driver from Version Tracker but Vista stated that the file (the download once extracted) did not contain drivers for my device and would not update. I tried the setup exe but Vista then told me my driver files are newer.
UGH! -
Try going to the update page for MS and select custom and see if the device driver shows up?
-
Good idea...I'll try that now...
-
Nope...no go.
I'm going to yank that **** card out....I doubt it is doing much anyway...
I only got it because $40 dollars is nothing...and if it worked, so be it....but the agrivation isn't worth Intel giving me $40----as weekly royalties! -
Well removing the card didn't remove the

In Device manager. So it must be chipset related?? Anyone? -
Well RJTech called me back today, I had left a message with the this morning when I got tired of trying to resolve it myself.
He had it resolved in 38 seconds.
