Your link doesn't work, do you mean this:
    http://m.ebay.com/itm/191880956835

If so then it probably will not work, the difference between dell/alienware cards and clevo ones are more then just bios. You will need a clevo/sager specific card from what I understand.

Question though, why go for the cheapest possible instead of wait a to save a little more for a little better gpu? In the meantime you can always just run off the integrated graphics card.

    Clevo 6 series should work.

Also yes it wont stay running without a signal from the MXM slot.

Really? Learned something new. I could of sworn I had my p150em turned on with no dGPU. Hmmm maybe I just forgot it was in there since there was a problem.

    How about this one:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-nVIDIA-...725210?hash=item1c62af135a:g:~IQAAOSwFNZWzTQc

Looks to be a bit cheaper and according to what I can see it should be compatible:

    Good luck!

Well eurocom lists 8970m as possible:
    http://www.eurocom.com/ec/configure(2,226,0)ec

not sure if it needs anything bios wise - clevo MXM card for sure at least.

Quadros are useless for gaming.. A AMD 8970M should work as long as you have a Clevo vBIOS for it..

Or a 980m.... he mentioned earlier he was looking for a cheap solution, and I also asked him what games he plays.. 4000m could be fine for him, the Quadro just isn't optimized for gaming...

    1. What games do you plan to play?
    2. What resolution and settings do you expect to play at?
    3. How much are you willing to pay?

Honestly it's impossible to recommend anything if we don't know what you expect. From thr beginning you seemed to want cheap so there is the 4000m, but if you want gaming you need to provide more information.

The 7970M was a very competent chip at launch so it is a little hard to replace for good value on the green side.
