Hey guys i havent been on here in a while, i have a p150hm and about a year ago i was messing around with an arduino and the 12v power supply was shorted when i touched the lead of a multimeter between the case and the positive terminal. the board was fine however my usb3.0 ports have stopped working. my guess is that the voltage regulator for the usb3.0 ports died, does anyone know where that would be, id like to just solder on a new one.

    thanks.

Check the 8 leg device between the two ports on the socket side of the motherboard (next to the CPU fan header), that looks most likely to me.
