    it vents mod should not affect the warranty.

    just order a second bottom panel.

    use one for stock use, and the other for modding use.

    Mind you, your local law may be very different, but in principle, adding a vent to the bottom casing under the hdd shouldn't void your warranty except as to the bottom casing itself, and anything else that you physically alter in order to install the additional vent.

    In terms of the rest of the system, your seller would, in general, have to demonstrate that your modification in fact caused any particular harm that they are trying to avoid covering under warranty; e.g., if, say, the GPU burned itself out and they try to avoid covering it on the ground that your modification caused the GPU to overheat, they would, as a general matter, be required to prove that it was more likely than not the case that your act of adding the additional vent was the cause of the GPU's overheating. Of course, that's not the position they would start off with in the unlikely event that there was litigation - they'd try to throw the burden of proof onto you and try to trick you into thinking it was your job to prove a negative: that the additional vent was not the cause of the GPU's overheating; in the end, however, the burden would be on them, not you, and if they failed to carry that burden, you would be entitled to warranty coverage (plus costs and etc, of course).

    Just mail and ask them.Or get a second one and make the vents and if there isa problem switch back to old one before sending in for repairs.
