    very high temps on w150hrm

    Hello i have a w150hrm and when playing my cpu gets around 91-92
    tho gpu is 73max. the cpu is an i5, can someone if i give him my bios disable hyperthread and turbo boost?

    Those are very high temps for a CPU. Since the GPU is showing low temps I would suggest reapplying Thermal Compound if you're comfortable doing so. While disabling HT and turbo boost might lower your temps its not really fixing the problem. You're would be lowering your performance to get lower temps which isnt the best way to go about fixing it.

    changed the thermal compound i put even more so it covers the whole metal cooler thing and i get max 86C from 92C. is that ok? how much should it be running, note i get 86 when im playing wow and botting at the same time so i guess its cpu burning using those 2.

    how old is the lappy and when was the last time you cleaned the fans out.
    a small build up of dust can cause temps to go up quite quickly.

    laptop is 3months old and there is no dust
