    ok I installed KBC/EC Firmware - 1.00.07Sh, but the vibration still going on.

    I have a little conclusion:
    .h version - no ramping in auto mode, but has vibration with Fn+F3
    .f version - fan ramping in auto mode, but fixed the vibration problem in Fn+F3
    .g version - urrr....can somebody give me a link to download it?

    How do you check which firmware version that you have?

    Found:

    How-to ID your firmware version:
    Please turn on “Boot-time Diagnostic Screen:” in the system BIOS to disable the boot logo
    Then review the line” KBC/EC Firmware Revision:” during the system POST screen

    I haven't done this yet but I might. I have the reving fans (off/on) while idle , which I assume is happening in order to hang at a certain temperature. As the temp begins to rise the fans kick on and then stop after it's normalized. My temps compared to eleron seem a bit high, idle gpu temp is around 40C I believe, in most games it's 45-60C. One quick question I had, when I enter any game the fans seem to kick on full speed. For older games this doesn't seem necessary to me and I would like to lower it but haven't messed with fn1 or 3. Is this default setting when entering games fn1 speed?

    I kept asking on that also.
    You can tell if you DON`T have the latest *7.h* version if you have the fans turning on and off by themselves.

    The CPU fan does turn off sometimes,true,but the CPU noise cannot compare to the GPU noise which stays ON at all times.

    yes my cpu one does go off but the gpu one runs all the time it seems. now with the 8700 it would have times where it would shut off..mo there is a large heat difference between the two as well as a decent battery life advantage (maybe 20-30min or so) for the 8700gt over the 8800.. i was going to sell the 8700 but i may hang onto it if i cant get at least a bit over 200$ for it this way when i could always use it again if i had to do so.. well see.. but id love to get maybe 200$ for the 8700. so im torn

    If I take the standard version,can`t I add the custom boot screen later on?
    I`m still debating over the pink unicorn with curles and the freaky 7 foot terminator :D
