Do you guys ever have issues watching videos on Windows Media or intervideo windvd while on battery? Often, after a little while of me watching video, the video will begin to stutter and skip until the laptop freezes. Any ideas or comments?

Dimmu, I have experienced the same thing.... its simple.

We have the first dual-core notebooks. When on battery, the CPU does not get past 1000 mhz to conserve battery. When plugged-in, then it can clock-up past 1000mhz when needed... like playing games or hi-res movies.

I believe that it can be remedied, but our notebooks' BIOS is locked for such options (ex. Cool n' Quiet).

I still can watch movies or anime perfect on Media Player Classic and Windows Media (to a point) on battery. The main thing that you should do is to no fullscreen them, thats what usually causes the stutters since the CPU cant throttle up.

It might not matter too much, since the batterylife of the D900K's are about 1:30 to 1:40.
