w230st "resuming from hibernation" even after shutdown and can't access bios menu

Hey folks. I just flashed the bios in my clevo w230st and it's acting a little strange now.
Whenever I shut down the computer and reboot, the boot logo would say "resuming from hibernation" and go straight to windows.
I can still access the bios menu only when I unplug the mSATA SSD which have the windows installed.
And just for the hell of it I formatted then re-installed windows on the same SSD by plugging it in different mSATA slot, but it's still acting the same after I boot the windows.
Does anyone know what might have caused this and the solution to this? Any help is appreciated.

Huh.....it seems to shutdown and reboot properly when I click restart button from the windows menu.
The problem only seem to occur if I choose to shutdown the laptop either from windows or pressing down the power button for few seconds. Any thoughts?

Problem solved.
The problem was the "fast startup" option. I disabled it and everything is back to normal
