    im not sure if i have all my facts straight,
    but from what i think, when the new m860tu launches tomorrow for preorder,
    buyers won't get the new wireless card for wi-max right?
    is that the only new montevina feature that early buyers will miss out on?

    and if you want wi-max from the start, how long do we have to wait?

    actually I think Donald said that you will get the new wifi card with m860tu.

    The 860TU (SAGER NP8660) is not expected to ship until the first part of August at this time. (the wireless cards are expected to be available right around the same time as the machine)

    Every machine launching tomorrow will have the full centrino 2 set, the Montevina Chipset and new Wifi card. WiMax is a different Feature which does not have a tentative release date atm.

    theres no reason to wait. If you want the wimax feature, youj can just get that part seperately afterwards when its ready. You cant even use wimax yet since it is not widely available yet.
