    Hey,

My Sager laptop has developed a green verticle line on one side of the screen.

As it is still under warranty I am applying to get it repared.

I was wondering if anyone here with experience dealing with Sager's warranty system knows if I have to pay out of pocket for postage or will Sager cover it?

This is a hardware fault, I take good care of my laptop.

This is a serious concern as I am in Australia and shipping something of this size can be quite costly ($100+).

    Thanks for any help.

It depends on your retailer, but for most of them you're responsible for shipping to get it to the repair center on international repairs. The warranty covers part and labor (they may cover the return shipping but you'll have to check.

Alternatively, if you can narrow down the problem, it may be cheaper to have a replacement part shipped directly to you for the repair.

Hi Chris and welcome to nbr

sounds like another graphics card on the way out.
can we have some more details first though.
did you buy direct from sager or another reseller. what laptop have you got and what is the spec.
as Anthony mentioned, warranty is covered both ways if you are in the same country but if in another country you would have to foot the bill on courier charges and as its an expensive bit of kit maybe even extra insurance for piece of mind.
