Hey, my laptop has started making this random beeping noise now and I dont know what it is. Maybe i switched some setting i don't know about, or maybe something's about to die. But it sounds like a truck backing up. It'll go beep beep beep beep beep for a few seconds, stop sometimes for about 5 seconds and do it again.

Any ideas how ot stop it or at least why it's doing that? My laptop is what my sig says

by the way, when it beeps, sometimes the symbol lights for caps lock and numluck blink. sometimes they dont but almost always they do. Also the battery light kinda flickers, but my battery has been dead for a long time.

I would suggest cleaning out the fans/vents/heatsinks and possibly updating the bios (if you have an older version).

    Newest KBC/EC Firmware: 1.00.05
    Newest BIOS: 1.00.09

Make sure you flash the KBC/EC Firmware before the BIOS
