What do you guys refer to your Clevo/Sager notebooks as? I have the Clevo M570U from Flawless computers. It is manufactured by Clevo, then sent to Sager and then from there it goes to either Flawless or to Flawless' customers.
I usually refer to my lappy as a Clevo. Since my replacement Clevo came directly from Sager (where I sent my damaged model from Flawless), I guess I could also call it a Sager.
Do any of you guys who own a Sager refer to it as a Clevo? Probably not considering that Sager re-brands their Clevos as Sager. The sticker on the front cover/back of the LCD just says StyleNote. Maybe I should call it a StyleNote. lol
If things continue to go as well as they are with my Clevo, I will definitely upgrade to another Clevo when the time comes. I will probably buy from a reseller who has been around for a long enough time to have been proven reliable. This reseller might be Sager or a Sager distributer...I don't know.
Don't get me wrong....If Brian of Flawless Computers pulls through and comes out on top of the financial situation he appears to be in, I will most likely buy from him again. In that case, I could call my lappy a Flawless(or whatever the hell name Brian gave to these systems). Either way I am sticking with Clevo/Sager fosho.![]()

Depends on the situation. I usually call it a Sager, but in a discussion where everyone is talking about Clevo, I'll refer to mine as such so I don't confuse anyone.

Usually the same with me, but in my home town of Montrose in northeastern Pennsyltucky, no one knows what a sager. let alone a Gaming laptop is, so I call it my Power Sager
last year during my senior year of high school was when i got it, and i sure turned heads when I sat down in the cafeteria with my "Lil ole Laptop" and cranked out FEAR at max settings
GOOD times -
I usually call it a Sager (since that's what the little badge on the lid says).
This is usually followed shortly by, "it's custom".
And it almost always gets some nice looks and comments. -
I call mine a Sager.
No one I know around here has heard of Clevo or Sager. So it doesn't really matter what I call it. So since the sticker on the lid says Sager that's what it is to everyone who sees it. -
I call mine a Clevo, because I didn't order it from Sager. Although, I thought I had heard that some of the distributors that sell Clevo branded bare bones actually get their stock from Sager? The names are nearly interchangeable, as evidenced by the name of this forum.

Like a majority here, I call mine a Sager due to the badging. Some roll their eyes until I boot up and they see the display of power barely contained by this innocuous looking form. When they see 3DMark05 of 9829 and 3DMark06 of 5476 coming from this, they bow before the beast!

Same as what they said. i call it a Sager which usually gets me some looks till i say it a custom then i get more looks. I guess most people think tht desktops is the only type that can be customized. Most people think it is crap (cheap) because it isnt one of the big names.

I dont even have a sticker on mine, when I got my barebones it came with a lame "NOTEBOOK" sticker.
So I have a blank spot for my sticker and just say
"it aint no Dell" or
"its a custom gaming notebook that pretty much owns most the other ones" -
I call mine Arthur

My computer's name is MEGALITH. But when asked what it is, I call it an xVx. I don't bother with the rest of the title (Monstruo-M s400) although I have called it an xVx S400 too. I realize it's a Clevo 570U just like any other (even had the "Style-Note" sticker like someone else mentioned, however xVx did right by me and deserves the name recognition.
I have a lapschticker on mine, so it kind of furthers its inherent ambiguity, so I generally have to explain that it's a custom-built gaming laptop.
This is the MEGALITH.

Like I told the Angelo@xVx on NBF
what do you call it? Clevo? Sager? X-brand?
