    what is avilable in mini pci-e??

    other than the tv tuner or turbo mem.. will anything else avilable work in the 579x series?? i was thinking about looking for a internal sound card in mimi pci-e but im not sure there are any?

    You pretty much summed out what mini pci-e cards are available (tv tuner, robson, wireless, etc). I have personally never seen a mini pci-e sound card and I dont believe anyone currently makes one.

    If you had an internal sound card, how could you connect anything to it? All the ports/internal speakers are hard wired into the onboard sound card so it kinda wouldnt work...

    yeah i figured that but i thought maybe there was a way for it to work with the mobo.. guess not..

    FWIW, just found some 3G wireless WAN cards googling (on ebay) from Dell and Novatel...
    ... also found a GPS from Commell

    no mini pci and mini pci-e are different slots. mini pci is about twice the width of the mini pci-e
