If my guess is correct, it's around $550.

670m: $200. 680m: ~$800. And don't think you'll be able to sell a used stock GPU at full value, either.

I know what you're thinking and I don't recommend it.

you know and don't recommend it ?! may i know what and why ?
and links or i find it hard to believe the gtx 670m is $200

dude i would be happy if i could sell the 560M for 100€ which doesn't seem likely.. (i think i will be forced to give it away or sell for an insignificance)
i will buy a P150 EM barebone and get all my parts into it from the P150HM, that is step one. the 680M comes after or if a good deal comes along.. if all fails i'll just get a AMD 7970M

If you really want the 680m, it might be better to hold off buying anything until it's released. Upgrading bit by bit is bound to be more expensive.

What did you think he'd buy the new one and put the old in the box and try to return it?

He'd go with the 670m, buy the 680m and try to sell the 670m later. I'm going to bite the bullet this fall and probably go red team and eat the loss on selling my 675m. It's going to suck but whatevs. I was going to fail all of my classes if I waited for the 7970m last semester.

Yea unless you order a 670m from china for 250$ and somehow get it shipped cheap, you are going to lose a few 100$ on upgrading twice. Not very smart.
