    where in the world do i find a bios for the 5791??

    i want to play with changing the style note screen i have to a sager one or something else and i need a bios to play with before modding the one on the system... but they are NO WHERE TO BE FOUND??? i guess i could dump one from my system

    yes... no OEM makes their own BIOS.

    They can only re-brand the splash... everything else is by Clevo.

    and you think this is for the 5791 and not the 5790?? i know they removed the tpm from the 5791 what do you think?? id rather have a eurocom logo than a style note one lol

    Perhaps you already figured this out:

    If you set boot details in the bios to "on" (don't know the exact name now, am at my work, but you'll figure out which setting it is), there will be no splash screen, but you'll see the memory count, prim/sec master and slave check etc.

    That way you don't have to bother changing a logo if you don't like it. (yes, I don't like modding bios stuff ;))
