which processor has the best performance/price ratio?
does the 10 watt difference make a difference in battery life?
    (from t9400 to t9500)
does the jump from 3mb cache to 6mb cache worth the money?
    ahh

edit: shoot, i didnt see the question bout new releases thread.. got to excited. sorry, can delete if ya want.

if not.. just one more question for here...
the 320gig 5400rpm offered here has similar performance to 200gig 7200rpm drive right? (because i know its not always the case.. with older drives and all)

I think the 10 watt difference will have some kind of impact on battery life, but for a 15" desktop replacement of this class long lasting battery life is rare.

I'm going for the T9400 because I think the cache is a big enough jump, but it's really up to what you're willing to pay for.

I thought the same way on the hard drive. :)

I can't decide between the P9500 and the T9400...same speed, same cache, but 10 watt difference.

And I am also curious about the 320GB 7200 RPM 8mb cache vs the 200 GB 7200 RPM 16mb cache. If space is not really a factor (but obviously nice to have), is the speed difference noticeable between the 2?

320 7200 blows every other laptop HD out of the water.
