    Those are all desktop socket LGA775 CPU's. They will not fit.

    The only Q9100 and Q9000 listed on that page will fit.

    do they already have a core 2 quad extreme mobile 3.0 Ghz that will fit into the m980nu ?

    The extreme mobile quad are the QX9300 and it is clocked to 2,53 ghz stock.

    many people have overclocked it well into the 3.00GHz range on other notebooks that supports the QX9300.

    The processor is fast. More than fast enough for mobile GPUs. And Clevo may allow it to be overclocked even higher in the M98nu.

    Question why do you need quad core. If you are in games Dual core just fine. Quad core is usesless in games and the games that say they support quad core you only get 5% increase in Low Res in games. Once you start useing high Res. The Gpu is what use in the game.

    If you are into Cad and other Programs that require CPU power quad core is the way to go.

    GTA4 is much faster, L4D is faster, FC2 is a little faster, Crysis holds a more stable speed... I could go on, but yes, the Quad was worth it.
