    Hello,

Ive had my clevo m570 tu for about 2 years now and always running flawlessly. However lately it began with a white screen every once in a while...no response whatsoever. Everytime when this occured and i lifted the notebook from the table a little, about 1cm at the touchpad, and then dropped it softly the white screen vanished. Now the past weeks....it starts with a white screen, not even showin a bios or something just plain white. I googled a lilttle and there where a few options...memory, i switched the two memorybanks, and leaving one out to see if it was a faulty memory. I repeated the procedure with the other memorybank and no succes. I replaced my 9800 gtx ( 1GB) graphiccard by a Nvidia Quadro FX3600 but no results as well. Now i sometimes have a black screen and then again sometimes a whitescreen.... ....so i guess its not the videocards..... I opened the screen to see if some cables where not connected propperly but nothing akward to see there.....so im running out of options....

I find it strange that sometimes when i get a whitescreen i can adjust brightness so that still works.

Anyone, because im running out of options.......or just sell it for parts at Ebay?

    Thx
    M

Have you tried testing it with an external monitor yet? If it works with that then it is likely a bad cable or card (unlikely to be the card since you replaced it though). If you get the same problem, it would be likely that you will have to RMA the unit.
