im wondering how it all went. im worried about any slight damage or scratches to the case or the lid etc..(im extremely picky about that kind of thing) i spoke with sager and they said they can not gaurantee (as im sure has been posted by justin and powernotebooks and maybe others) that no damage will occur.. he said as long as it is still functional 100% then they will ship it back.. irregardles.
he said its a very rare occurence but they do get calls where people report scratches etc but these people are told sager does no gaurantee against that. now i know they are good to deal with and i have dealt with them before but im wondering who has done this and how did you system come back??
anything you noticed or any damage occured while it was there? how was it packed on the way back i assume like a new notebook correct etc??
i have been bugging justin with questions and i greatly appreciate his time but i hate to keep asking.. so i figured id ask the members here who have actually been through the experience. im extremely perhaps ocd when it comes to my system and i would be very upset with any physical markings to the lid or inside/keys etc.. this would def upset me.
any thoughts on your experience or even maybe you had to send it for warr and they swapped the mobo out??
ive decided if i dont go with the upgrade or the 8800 separately ill sell it and simply buy either a newer one or something else. it is up in the for sale section and if someone offers what i want i will sell it for sure then just spend more to get what i want in the first place.. either a new 5793 or wait for the 15" models to be released which id actually rather have imo..
