    I sent my P150EM to MYsn.de service center and they came to the conclusion that I need a new GPU the can offer AMD HD8970M for 465 euro but will the CPU bottleneck it?

    Lemme guess, you had a 485M/580M/675M which died? If you take the 8970M, you'll be back in this position a year later when that dies too.

    8970M = 7970M + 50 MHz

    At the price they're asking, an aftermarket 970M is a no-brainer.

    The 970m really is a very good value mobile card. With prema's system bios and a p150sm heatsink you wouod be set.

    Your processor would still be fine with a 970m I would think, so do it if isn't that different of a price.
