    will the core 2 duo work for the older D900 series?

    the 9860-9890 has the same cpu socket (LGA775) so i am wondering if they can accept the core 2 duos, even though the lower speed bus would negatively affect performance.

    The D900T is using a socket 775 with a Intel 915 chipset.... which does not support any dual cores at all... only Pentium 4's
