    i bought my d900f in mid 2009 ... will the gtx480m upgrade kit fit and work on my d900f ???

    Male connector goes in Female DC-in jack.
    So it means your D900F's motherboard has female DC-in jack which is the old version.

    You'd better upgrade your MB bios first.
    And make sure the kit also includes a new CPU heatsink as well as VGA heatsink. You will need to swap both heatsinks.

    Besides, GTX480M costs quite a lot....

    Why would you want the 480m? Wouldn't the 485m or 6970m be better choices?
