    Windows 7 Pro FTW... still the best OS from the Remond Retards. Windows 8.X sucked. Windows 10 blows. Don't waste any money on an OS if you already have Windows 7. There are no meaningful benefits to installing anything they have released since then.

    Use 8.1. It looks like Windows 7 but has more benefits like proper XHCI support (meaning the installer boots natively on newer hardware, without needing the EHCI emulation on Windows 7), proper USB 3.0 support without needing third-party drivers; it also runs quite a bit faster and has support for D3D 11.1. You can use StartIsBack/ClassicShell and AeroGlass to get the Windows 7 feel.

    I don't use third-party USB 3.0 drivers. I use genuine Intel drivers with Windows 7. If you have a wimpy CPU and do not care about degraded CPU performance, using W8.X and 10 are inconsequential. If you have a powerful CPU, Windows 7 delivers superior physics performance. The newer OSes do something to cripple CPU performance, and Micro$lop has never fixed the RTC bug introduced with Windows 8. As such, there are some benchmark leaderboards (i.e. HWBOT.org) that blacklist OSes newer than Windows 7 because the benchmark results are inaccurate and bugged unless you are running a Sky Lake or newer CPU.

    The biggest issues with OSes released after Windows 7 is they require extensive use of third-party software and registry hacks to fix the unaesthetic, often grotesque, elements of UI because Micro$lop has removed so many UI customization options. A side benefit of using an older OS like Windows 7 will also help prevent them from reaching their market share goals for Windows 10. The way they have shafted us with inferior products and taken away user controls and features, they deserve to fail... even harder than they already have. DirectX Support is not as relevant as Micro$loth would like us all to think it is, and especially not DX12. Vulkan is a superior API and most of the stuff that uses DX12 is inferior UWA filth built for the Windows 10 Store Whores.

    I has long time Windows 10 and I like way how it's working, some people tell it's peace of &$&$&#& but in my case all work fine and I never get any compability issues.

    Win 10 offers DirectX 12. Other than that, with respect to gaming, there's not a whole lot that 10 offers that out-benefits using good ol' Win 7.

    Windows 7 unless you want a DX12 title. It is the last good version of windows after all.
    Win10 is something I wouldn't use to spite my worst enemy.

    DX12 generally hinders performance compared to DX11. But, if the title is ONLY DX12 you're screwed without Windoze OS X.

    Yes, I do say that a lot and I probably sound like a broken record sometimes. The truth is often hard to take, and I have a really low tolerance for crap when it comes to computer stuff, LOL.

    But, I agree with you... I'll take my modded W10 over W8 all day long, and W7 is still better than either of the newer OSes.

    If I had to use W10 the way it is provided from M$, I'm not sure which would be worse between W8 and W10. Both of them are basically trash in their default form.
