    I got the driver and the modded inf here. I only have a WSXGA screen so I can't put it up to WUXGA... :rolleyes: I've tried WSXGA and it has no problem running it but I prefer 1440x900 since it gives me a few more fps and not losing too much quality at the same time. ;)

    it has frozen up on me twice now. the first time during the opening scene where the guy is driving in the jeep, and the second time, immediately after a reboot, in the beginning when they send you to the dome to take out the anti-aircraft gun.

    Resolution: 1600x900
    Card: 7950GTX
    Drivers: laptopvideo2go.com -> 165.01.drivers and INF ( http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13793)

    Im gonna turn the resolution down and see if that helps.

    Maybe you should try 163.71 since that's the newest driver from nvidia. 165.01 is quite old so it *may* give you problems when running newer games. :rolleyes:

    i will give it a shot. but i have another question. how in the world is someone to supposed to know that 163.71 is newer than 165.01. what is this crazy numbering that nvidia uses?

    i updated to 163.71 and it still crapped out for me. total freeze of the machine, had to power off.

    the cpu temp is at 62C when it crashes.

    anyone else have any other thoughts?

    I have found that i can run World In Conflict fine with settings on HIGH and resolution at 1280x1024. The cpu temperature gets around 61C and it does not crash. When I increase to VERY HIGH and/or the resolution the cpu temperature will get to 62C and then it will crash.
