What happened to the option of the ATi Mobility Radeon x1800XT instead of the Nvidia GeForce Go7900GTX?

the x1800xt is worse than the 7900gtx, so for north america, they just ship the 7900gtx.

The previous Clevo M570A also had an option for a Radeon X800XT 256MB card; but, it never took hold either. I'm not sure what happened to the X1800XT this time around, but ejl is correct - the Go7900GTX is the faster card.
