Has anyone managed to use the built in Bluetooth inside your x7200 ?

When i go to blueetoth places it looks like this:

If anyone has managed to get the bluetooth work in your x7200, please post a link with the correct drivers.

Also, do i need to keep on, from the bios the built in wireless module ?
Note that i also have intel wifi ultimate 6300, as well as the built in wifi module that comes standard in any x7200 chasis.

From what I've read, when you get the 6300, it uses all three antennas in the laptop, and does not have any bluetooth support on the chip, itself. You also do not have any "standard" wireless module as well, because the Intel 6300 replaces that part.

If you need bluetooth, I suggest getting one of those microsized transceivers (they're normally half as thick as the thickness of a finger, on the end that does not seat into the USB socket). Good luck.

    X7200 has a built-in bluetooth chip.

It was working on mine and I was able to connect my phone to it. I think you just have the wrong drivers.

^^^Yes it has the Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR module on the MB by default. In most cases it is a driver issue if it does not work.

Of course you do have to toggle the Fn + F12 keys to enable it. :)

Does this mean the "standard part" no longer exists in my laptop, because that was bassicaly a pci express part that got replaced, and bluetooth was on that board ?
Or is the standard part not a pci express module, but something allready built in the motherboard ?

When i togle with fn+f12, or hit the touch button, i hear in windows the sound that one hears when somethings is plugged in. That means there is something.

Hi, sorry if this is a necro, but did any solution for this problem ever present itself? I tried downloading the official BT+WLAN combo driver and installed it (I believe it was motorola something) and got the same error. I know for a fact that the Bluetooth is on (FN+F12) but when I tried using a tool like Broadcom it says "Please turn on/connect the bluetooth adapter" so can't get drivers through that too.
The laptop was just returned from repairs (its motherboard and graphics card were damaged it seems) and when I got it back, the unprofessional but cheap repair shop did quite a number to it. The speaker starts breaking up at high volumes, the dashboard lights (volume control and some switches) is not working and a few others. Could this problem also be because of the bad repairs?

Likely the module is not seated/connected correctly or damaged.

It's possible the Bluetooth module was removed altogether despite it residing in a different connection separate from the WLAN slot.

Typically there are two antennae and one needs to be added and routed for a three-antennae card, then there is an additional antenna for the Bluetooth module (I could be remembering incorrectly). True that the 6300 does not offer Bluetooth support however.
