I've been looking in to buy the Sager 5793 for a while. I was looking at those two stores, and spec'ed a Sager 5793 to be the same at the same price.

PC Torque though, seems to provide longer warranty for free. Here:

"Sager 3 Yr Labor, 1 Yr Parts Warranty (Yrs 2+3 paid by PCT) Lifetime 24/7"

    compared to Xotic:

"1 Year Parts & Labor, Lifetime Sager Toll Free Tech Support"

So I don't get why almost every forum topic regarding Sager I look to, I find people buying from Xotic rather tahn PC Torque. Is there something I don't know that I should be aware about? Does anyone have experience with either or both companies?

If I had to guess... I would say that this is due to the fact that the 5793, is based on the Clevo 570RU, which has been replaced by the 5796, which is the Clevo 570TU.

If you look at all XoticPC's 'current' Sager-built-on-Clevo models (NP9262, NP8660, NP5796), you will see that they offer the following warranty.

3 Year Labor* 1 Year Parts Warranty Lifetime 24/7 DOMESTIC Based Toll Free Telephone Tech Support
    (Labor Warranty through Xotic PC)

I don't have any experience with PC Torque personally. I would check the Clevo FAQ in this forum for some more information on resellers.

I remember asking Justin at XoticPC the same question (though in regards to a different laptop) and he stated that their machines do indeed have 3 year labor and 1 year parts, even if it's not explicitly stated.

The standard xoticpc warranty is 3 yrs labor, 1 yr parts, at least on the current, up-to-date systems. You might want to check with PCTorque instead to see if they've forgotten to update their website.
