what brand of RAM does xoticpc put in their 5790s?

if i want to buy one of the RAM sticks from xoticpc WITH the computer (since you have to), but then order a second one from another retailer, separate, will they be able to dual channel together?

    1) Sager usually uses Transcend memory (from past experiences)... it does not matter really since most memory chips are from the same manufacturers.

So the rule of thumb for memory:
    - Brand is not important
    - Make sure it has lifetime warranty (which most do)
    - Has no instabilities or errors (which should be checked when testing the unit)

    2) DO NOT worry about dual channel, the technology has gone and pretty much past. Dual channel nowadays barely gives any performance increase (2-3% ;) for current systems.

xoticpc's RAM prices are pretty reasonable already, why not just order from them?
